Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, this auburn-haired beauty is more of a tomboy than a glamour girl, preferring to work up a sweat hiking than shopping or clubbing. “I didn’t think I could model, let alone be a Playmate, because I was never the pretty, popular girl the guys asked to the dance,” says Amberleigh, grinning sheepishly. “I finally learned to stop caring what others thought. Flash forward to me getting an email from a Playboy scout.” The rest is Playboy history, in more ways than one—Amberleigh is our last-ever nude Miss January, a special distinction indeed.
